As an ex-professional athlete, I have had a lot of sports type massage over the years and I have high expectations. Lorena is an outstanding therapist, the massage she gives is physiologically well informed and effective. She’s also a very warm person and good company. Highly recommended.

Lorena is a great find! Just a handful of sessions has banished the hip pain that I thought I’d be saddled with forever.

She is extremely knowledgeable and explains how she plans to treat you and why and delivers serious deep tissue massage as well as more gentle techniques for more acutely painful areas. Her deft touch and sensitivity are incredibly reassuring.

I’ve used numerous physios, osteopaths and massage therapists in the area in the past and Lorena stands out not only for the quality of her massages, but for the warmth of her personality and generosity of spirit .I can’t recommend her highly enough.

I’ve been to see Lorena on several occasions now and she has done a truly amazing job of easing some intense RSI pain through remedial massage. I walk in barely able to move my arm but leave significantly looser and more comfortable. Lorena always checks how I’m feeling at the end of the session and makes final adjustments to ensure I leave with the pain and tension released as much as possible. She also explains what she’s doing – which muscles she’s working on, how they are connected and why they have got damaged, as well as finishing each session with some suggestions of how I can help myself through simple movements at home, something which is so helpful but which I’ve not come across before.

Lorena is a delightful person, so warm, easy and welcoming while also being very thorough, caring and professional. Her commitment to understanding your needs, not only in each individual session but also building this across multiple sessions and checking back on how things have progressed is outstanding. I can’t recommend her highly enough and am so glad I found her!

Lorena is magic, she sorted my neck injury out in just one session. Before the session she took the time to ask about my injuries, body, lifestyle and general well-being which I found very comforting because she really listened. Very relaxing massage. I felt refreshed after the session. In this category, I mean this type of massage (oils mixtures, pressure points gently pressed upon… but the muscles not forgotten). I have asked for a stress relief, relaxing massage. I got all that and a sensual (not sexual) “melting” experience.

I visited Lorena because at 34 weeks pregnant I had terrible lower back pain. It was my first pregnancy massage and I was a bit nervous about doing anything that might disturb baby or trigger labour! However, Lorena put my mind at rest by explaining all the oils she was using and movements during the massage. The massage itself targeted the pain very specifically, and I definitely felt gradual pain relief over the following 3-4 days. As a bonus, Lorena gave me the remainder of the unused oil to take away and use at home which was lovely.
